Starting to put the store design into 3D

December the 5th 2010


Today I started roughing out the sections of the store environment in 3D to get a feel for scale, This is what I have so far:

I put together a simple wall model complete with two variations, one with a doorway cut out of one section of wall, I placed an automatic UV map onto this model for ease of future texturing, here is both variations of the model:


Following modelling the wall piece I simply duplicated, translated and rotated the segments to create a quick layout of the building segment:
